Another season is now “in the books”. This past Spring was truly successful. Trenton teams competed at a high level in every sport. Though there were no new state championships, our student-athletes performed admirably and with spirit. The most trying aspect of the season from an administrative perspective was the Downriver League’s first baseball and softball tournaments. Unfortunately, things were complicated with our first significant rains of the year. Thus, games were scheduled quickly and without regard to much else other than getting the tournament in as scheduled. In the end, I am proud of our accomplishments and our kids – Trenton remains a great place to be!
A Quick Recap –
Boys Track & Field: League record – 6-3, 4th place finish in the Downriver League, 8th @Monroe Jefferson, 5th @Woodhaven Warrior Classic, 7th @News Herald, and 8th place @MHSAA Regional Meet.
