Mr. Scott is excited to be entering his third year of teaching at Trenton High School. He teaches AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Comparative Government and Politics, U.S. Government, and U.S. History to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Before teaching in this capacity, he also worked as a long-term substitute teacher at Trenton High School, teaching various Social Studies classes while finishing his undergraduate degree. Mr. Scott is a graduate of THS and received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is currently working towards his master's degree in Political Science at Wayne State University.

Mr. Scott's favorite part of teaching is witnessing the growth of students' abilities to rise to high, rigorous expectations and the pride that it instills in them when they do so.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Scott also has a great passion for helping students with college and career exploration.
