Mrs. Rachel Sloan
Rachel Sloan is special education teacher for children with hearing loss. She is a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, AVEd cert. Currently, she is teaching three year old preschool for children with hearing loss at Anderson Elementary. She has also taught four year old preschool through 2nd grade for children with hearing loss and Resource Room at Anderson Elementary. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree; Special Education with endorsements in elementary education and deaf and hard of hearing (K-12). She also earned her Master’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, taking photos of life’s moments, reading, running, and watching movies.
