Christina Grooms is entering her 17th year as an educator with Trenton Public Schools.  She is currently teaching 6^th grade students with an Individualized Educational Program.  Before becoming a Special Education teacher, she taught all subjects for 2 years at the elementary level in Allen Park Public Schools and special needs students for 3 years in Van Buren Public Schools.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Elementary from Western Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from University of Michigan.  In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, hanging out with her family, weekend get a ways, and scrapbooking.
