Mrs. Marcia Gutierrez

Marcia Gutiérrez has been teaching for twenty-seven years at Trenton High School with an additional six years of prior teaching experience.  She is currently teaching Spanish and English courses at Trenton High School, but she has also taught a variety of Social Studies courses over the years.  Mrs. Gutiérrez is the current Spanish Club sponsor at Trenton High School as well.  Mrs. Gutiérrez obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University where she was the recipient of a Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural scholarship.  In addition, Ms. Gutiérrez has taught in Temuco, Chile where she completed an assignment as a Fulbright awardee; and furthermore, she was a presenter in the Santiago, Chile American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).  She enjoys family, international travel, scuba diving, gardening, and water sports.
