Mr. Mark Hoffman

Mr. Hoffman is entering his twenty-second year as an educator with Trenton Public Schools.  

He is currenty teaching sophomores, juniors, and seniors at Trention High School, teaching U.S. history, U.S. government, AP United States government and politics, and AP comparative government and politics.  

Before teaching in this capacity, he served as the district's first Behavior Specialist, working in the In-School Suspension room with at-risk students.  

He graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1993, double-majoring in political science and history.  He went on to Wayne State University, earning a Master of Arts in Teaching (political science and history), an MA in history, and an Ed.S. in educational leadership.

He is also the current District Director of the Trenton Education Association, serving in this capacity since 2010.  He serves on the Michigan Education Association's Board of Directors as well.

He has pretty much no spare time, but when he does, he enjoys sleeping, leisure reading, and spending time with his family.
