Mr. Petrena is in his 14th year in Trenton Public Schools.  He is highly qualified in English, and as a Resource Room/Co-teacher.  He currently co-teaches in a variety of English classes.  Before teaching at Trenton High School, Mr. Petrena was an English and Resource Room teacher at Arthurs Middle School.  He earned a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in special education both at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, reading, and watching/attending sporting events.
