Heather Shimanek has been an educator with Trenton Public Schools since 2000.  She is currently teaching Spanish at Trenton High School.  Mrs. Shimanek graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Language From Olivet Nazarene University in Kanakakee Illinois and a Master's Degree in Teaching from Marygrove College in Detriot.  During the summers Mrs. Shimanek lives with a Costarrican family for a month in Buenos Aires Costa Rica doing missionary work with her husband.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking cookies, cheering on Chicago sports teams and Trenton teams as well.
