James Trush is in his 6th year as the Athletic Director/Assistant Principal of Trenton High School. Before joining the administrative team, he spent seven years as an art and psychology teacher at Trenton High School.  During this time Mr. Trush also coached Varsity Swim, Golf and Quizbowl.  Previous to his time in Trenton, he worked for three years in Gibraltar School District, where he was a 1996 alumni.  Mr. Trush received a Bachelor’s of Art, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Ann Arbor.  Mr. Trush and his athletic staff spearheaded many of the athletic facility improvements provided by the bond passed by the Trenton Community in 2018.  Mr. Trush lives in Trenton with his wife Jen, and two sons.  Some of his hobbies include reading, golf, chess, and bike rides with his family.
