Mrs. Lesli Sutherland

Lesli Sutherland has been an educator of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students with Trenton Public Schools since 1997. She is currently a Teacher Consultant for Deaf/Hard of Hearing, serving the school districts of Allen Park, Woodhaven-Brownstown, Summit Academy and Trillium Academy. Prior to becoming a TCD/HH, Lesli Sutherland taught a center based preschool classroom within the Trenton Oral Program fof Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Lesli Sutherland began her teaching career in Allegan Public Schools as a preschool teacher for Hearing Impairment for three years prior to gaining employment with Trenton Public Schools. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement for Special Education of Hearing Impairment. She earned her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Western Michigan University. In her spare time, Lesli Sutherland enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Dean, have two children. Ryan attends Grand Valley State University and Alayna attends Saline High School.
