Mrs. Lesli Sutherland
Lesli Sutherland is entering her 19th year as an educator for hearing impaired students. She is currently a Teacher Consultant for Hearing Impairment, serving the school districts of Allen Park, Woodhaven-Brownstown, and Trillium Academy. This is her 16th year in the role of Teacher Consultant for Hearing Impairment. Prior to becoming a TCHI, Lesli Sutherland taught preschool students with hearing impairment in the center-based program for hearing impairment at W.C. Taylor Elementary School for three years. Before gaining employment with Trenton Public Schools, Lesli Sutherland taught for three years in Allegan Public Schools as a preschool teacher for Hearing Impairment. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement for Special Education of Hearing Impairment. She earned her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, Lesli Sutherland enjoys spending time with her family.
