Casey Hurst has been an educator since 2012. She is currently the K-5 Instructional Math Coach for Anderson and Hedke Elementary Schools. She has also taught fourth grade, first grade, reading intervention, and special education. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education (Learning Disabilities), and she has a Master's degree in Reading from Wayne State University. Mrs. Hurst is certified as a Math Recovery Specialist and has also earned her TESOL Certification (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). When she isn't teaching, Mrs. Hurst likes traveling, indoor cycling, and spending time with her family.
