Andrea began teaching for Trenton Public Schools in March 2013. She is currently teaching children with hearing loss at Hedke Elementary School.  Before working at Hedke she taught preschool children with hearing loss for Okaloosa County Schools in Forida for a year. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in special education for hearing impairments from Eastern Michigan University in 2011 and earned her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University in 2015.  In her spare time she enjoys traveling with family and spending time with her family.
