Academic Support Services
Trenton High School offers class periods throughout the year for students that are in need of time in the day to work on their academic classes. This benefits students that struggle to complete work in class within the timeframe given and those who may be at-risk for graduation.

Advanced Placement
Trenton High School offers seventeen Advanced Placement (AP) Courses that students have access to in their 9th grade year, with the potential to take AP Modern World History and/or AP® Biology. This advanced pathway allows students to earn college credit in high school after passing their respective exams in May. Students also have access in their junior year to participate in the AP® Capstone™ Diploma Program

AP Capstone™ is a program based on two yearlong Advanced Placement courses: AP® Seminar and AP® Research. These courses are designed to complement other AP® courses that the AP Capstone™ student may take.  Instead of teaching specific subject knowledge, AP® Seminar and AP® Research use an interdisciplinary approach to develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, time management, and presentation skills students need for college-level work.
