Mrs. Casey Hurst
Casey Hurst is entering her ninth year as an educator. She is currently teaching fourth grade at Anderson Elementary School. Before teaching fourth grade, Mrs. Hurst taught first grade, reading intervention, and special education. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education (Learning Disabilities), and she has a Master's degree in Reading from Wayne State University. She is currently being trained as an elementary Math Recovery Specialist. She has also earned her TESOL Certification (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). When she isn't teaching, Mrs. Hurst likes traveling, indoor cycling, and spending time with her family.
