Mr. Douglas Mentzer
Douglas Mentzer began his career as an educator with Trenton Public Schools in 1994. He is currently serving as principal of Anderson Elementary School. Before becoming the educational leader at Anderson, he served in the capacity of a high school teacher, department chairperson, assistant principal, and athletic director. Addtionally, while at the high school, he coached Varsity Football and Girls Track & Field for eleven years. He graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1992 and earned a Master's Degree in principalship in 1998 and Specialist Degree in Superintendency in 2009 from Eastern Michigan University. In his spare time, he enjoys his family, fishing, and coaching soccer.
He is currently serving as principal of Anderson Elementary School and the interim Superintendent.
