Trenton Public Schools welcomes volunteers for a variety of activities throughout the year.
In order to ensure the protection of children in the care of TRENTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS, school policy requires, prior to any and all persons providing volunteer service at the school or for any function conducted by the school, all potential volunteers complete a State of Michigan ICHAT background check.
Please complete: Volunteer Consent Form
Your willingness to give freely of your time and talent is greatly appreciated!
Classroom teachers may request parent volunteers in their classrooms. Parents will get more information regarding specific requests at "meet the teacher nights" or through their individual teacher communication. Chaperones for field trips, classroom readers, classroom volunteers, copy moms, and party planning are all ways parents may volunteer in the classroom.
Trenton Band Boosters
The success of the THS Band Boosters depends on volunteers like you. From concerts to competitions to transportation to uniforms, managing the logistics of the largest band in the Downriver area is a monumental task. To be successful, every Booster is expected to donate a few minutes of their time to keep the band functioning. Whether you are interested in leading a project or donating “sweat hours” there are plenty of opportunities.
There are no paid positions in our organization – we depend on everyone to help!
To get involved, parents may check the website and also email any inquiries to email@example.com
All parents with a child attending a school are automatically a member of their PTO.
The PTO Board welcomes you, and invites you to participate in your child's school life by coming to Hedke PTO meetings or volunteering to serve at a PTO event.
Intro: Fundraisers & Sponsorship – In the event that a club or sport is considering fundraising activities, clearance from the Athletic Director and Building Principal must first be obtained. Upon approval, the coach is responsible to see that a representative and a coach oversee the functions of such an activity. When the fundraiser is complete, the money should be directed to the Athletic Office and deposited accordingly. In regards to sponsorship, any attempt to involve sponsorship of a team, in any fashion, must be presented for approval to the Athletic Office. Approval for sponsorship will be granted through the office of the Superintendent.
