Melissa Behnan has been teaching with Trenton Public Schools since 2007.  She teaches Kindergarten in the program for students who are deaf and hard of hearing at Anderson Elementary School.   She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education: Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Early Childhood. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder; both from Eastern Michigan University. In 2017, she continued her education and became a Certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist.
